This is simply one of the best digital glass examples i've seen in my entire life, i really dig the composition, colours and shapes are great! Simple but not banal Janine, it's a fantastic pic, glad to see something so good coming from C4D's raytracer once again. Can you tell us more about the rendertime?

Great !

I only have a small, really small comment, that is that when you look in the pink bottle, it is very clear that the back of the 'room' is totally black and not real. But if you don't know it, it looks awesome :)

Oops, didn't notice that. You're right. :p

And to answer some of the other questions: The top bit is plastic which is made to look like metal. It's one of those cheap fake metal surfaces, at least that's what it turned out to look like. ;) I used blurry reflections for it.

I think the rendering time was 1 or 2 hours (mainly because of the blurry reflection).

i'll take the one on the far left.

it looks like it might be beer.

the glass looks quacktastic.

thanks. :) they're parfum bottles btw, no beer I'm afraid... ;)

I think without the blurry reflections it would have been half an hour.

I think that a blurred map in the environment channel would do the job ;)
