Hey guys, i need to know is there a way to delete parts of history in maya. I have my character fully rigged and painted weights and i went in after that and deleted a few edges. So now in the outputs it has 5 or 6 polydeledges. So when i create my blend shapes it messes with the deformation order. Does anyone know how to delete history but to keep the skincluster info. Cheers.

thats an interesting approach. I also found this script on highend. Its called fixWeight ver 1.1 . Did the job for me, dunno if its doing the same thing u mentioned but it works pretty well. Cheers.
