View Full Version : Modeling a Jellyfish
pureprplaya 07-09-2003, 05:08 PM A friend of mine once showed me a tutorial and it looked so easy to model a realistic looking Jellyfish... Anyone know where I can find one? or can someone help me out?

I'm not aware of one available on-line although I'm sure it exists but...
One of the "Magic" books includes such a tutorial. I did find some problems with the animation part of it but the modeling and texturing was good. I believe it was in 3ds max 4 Magic. I can let you know on the w/e when I get back home to check for sure.
Btw, it was really simple to model. A Spline and Lathe then a texture applied to make the transluscent glow and tentacles.

It's worth the $20. Go for it!
P.S. Make sure you get the disc that goes with it.
