Has anyone resized a rigged character without messing up IKs and such. Like say if I build a Human baby and human woman, but they're both the same size on my grid. I grouped my geometry to my top node of my joints and then tried scaling down that new 'grouped' node...

im sure some of you guys have done this before :D

first you could try to bring all controlls under one node. and then scale this one. but you really have to be aware of double transformations etc. basicly you create this node (whatever) and then put the skeleton and the controls under it. the skeleton will scale the bind geometry with it, and all the geometry which is only parented too.

it's possible, but really be carefull (save a copy or so).

hope this helps :bounce: :bounce:

group all your ik/ik handles and scale, should be that simple. you may need to goto Edit-Select All by Type-joint to select everthing

i watched an Alex Alvarez video that says you have to group the root node to itself and then call it scale.

Then you can scale everything.
