I REALLY love this, this is totally cool. The style is fantastic! Such a great atmosphere and mood... I like everything about it :thumbsup:
The only thing I can think of that might be a nice little additional detail would have been a little teeny weeny path running up the peak.

While it's very cool and this could all be a huge coincidence, but it looks like near copy of Icecrown glacier in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
Especially at the end, the composition of it is almost exact.

07-10-2003, 03:10 PM
This is a question that bothers me for a while. How do you draw those stuff in 2d? I mean, how do you calculate all those shadows and tones and details. Do you draw all the detail yourself? Do you paint in the shadows yourself? Do you actually draw in lines of shadow and do all the lighting and details?
Btw, which software was used in this work souleage?

matte painting well to that fashion .:)
this pic . and other one (the gobin'pub) is only make
those in painter, not use other softwares, the detail ;
This is one of rough draft.

So you just used a mouse for your arts right? Because i know some people actually have tablet pcs and pens and they digital paint just like if they have a real pencil in their hand.
07-11-2003, 01:54 AM
dre4mer:oh, sorry ,I'm use wacom IntuosII 9X12 table to make it,
I'm only told you what softwears to use:)
07-11-2003, 01:55 AM
I like how it's angled and such. Nice perspective, and nice little touch with the huts as well.
