View Full Version : ati cards
Aegis 05-06-2002, 04:43 PM I have two computers with Maya running on both. I have a 64mb 7500 All-in-Wonder Radeon in one computer and in the other a Rage 128 Magnum. Both are ati cards. The 7500 is the one I use most, I haven't really used the Magnum cause its alot older. Sometimes Maya will freeze up and I have to restart my computer, its the kind of freeze where you push a key on the keyboard and you hear a sound from the Internal speaker! :O
I was wondering if anyone else has this card? Are their patches or do you have no problems what so ever?

make sure each time you update your drivers you do a clean UNinstall of your previous ones, this solved a lot of maya issues with the radeon.

I have bought the exact same card a month ago (previously owned the matrox g400) and i didn't have any trouble using maya on my pc even with the default drivers on Windows 2000.... The sugestion above might be the only thing i could think of along with the reinstallation of maya if you installeded it previously to your grafics card (sometimes it keeps the settings)..... I hope i have been of some help...
