Hello, just posting up my Showreel to get some feedback. I started doing 3d work this time last year, mostly using 3DS Max.

Short clip from a short animation called (EVA)Hero, modelled in 3DS Max. I also used Max’s in build Hair & Fur modifier for the hair, and SSS (Sub-surface Scattering) for the skin. Animated using morph targets.

Modelled in 3DS. Here I have used a custom bone rig for my bird to animate a fly cycle. The clouds were made using the Afterburn plugin.

Robot model made in 3DS Max, using the Ink ‘n’ Paint material, animated using Max’s biped and composited onto live footage using Boujou. Composited in After Effects.

Clip from an animation. Features a character with a custom bone rig, that has been hand animated, as well as particle systems for fire and smoke effects.

Animation using Reactor rope dynamics. The larger asteroids were modelled in zBrush. The smaller asteroid was mostly box modelled. It’s top texture was modelled using a drawn displacement map, and a texture made in Photoshop. Use of volume fog.
