My new Intuos4 has arrived! I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but here are the first photos. It’s really, really pretty.

The Intuos4 site launched today:
http://www.wacom.com/intuos/

And the prices are thankfully cheaper than the pre-release rumors:

Are the pen nibs the same as the Intuos3?

Im guessing by the little box that is high lighted along the bottom of the box that this is the medium sized tablet, would that be correct? If so, do you think the small one would any good for matte painting?

I had hoped that the new tablets would have been smaller now that there's only controls on one side...why is there still 2.5" of unused space on the right side?

I would have thought it would be to act as a hand rest so you can use the full range of the tablet without the hand dropping off the end - that would be rather annoying don't you think?
