first time ever going highpoly =) ... using gmax for it, just started today, still have to get used to the interface, only worked with milkshape and zmodeler before.

there are many little flaws in the mesh already, but you gotta know I'm completely new to this whole meshsmooth thingie too

When you say flaws, did u mean that your model didn't match well enough with the blueprint, or your mesh itself is a mess?
...since what I can see is a nice and clean mesh :p
ah well you don't notice it on distance :p, but thanks
