View Full Version : Doubt about shortcuts for Blender 2.5

I've seen many times that Blender 2.5 will allow any key to be a modifier key (like Ctrl, Shift and Alt)? This means that it's going to be possible to create shortcuts like A+B or even B+A? Or S+LMB? Is that true?

I just want to confirm that...

I too was interested in an answer for this question, so I hopped into the #blendercoders IRC channel and asked the source of the people coding the system up.

Here the reply I got

liquidApe: In theory yes, we'll have to wait and see though. There will probably be some limitations no idea what those will be yet though...


So, not a lot of information, but it looks like those key combos are a possibility. It's on the "radar" so to speak.
