Ive been jumping around alot on what charecter/class i wanted to use but ive settled on Demon Lord. This demon after coming through the dimentional tear, it secreats a parisitic oil from its underbelly that devours all life. the parisitic oil acts much live a venus fly trap, it has no brain but is capable of defending its host.

Hey man! Congrats on your little girl! :)
Very nice creature you've got there.. Nice design. The only thing that bothers me really is the detail distribution and the distances you keep repeting inbetween shapes. Right now you've got ton's of details evenly places all over the figure, what i'd suggest is that you take away details on some places and keep(or maybe add more to some) your details on selective places where you want to place focus. Also most of your shapes, their size and also their distance between them repeat themselfes very much. I know its hard work but i'd like to see some mor variation in all those three areas, the actual shapes, their sizes and the distances between them. If you push it this way i really think it'll rock!! Keep up the good work! And good luck with your girl! Later..

here is another wip, with the landscape behind RaDune. I quickly added the parasitic oil that he sacretes from his underbelly. Im still not sure on its exact look. It is meant to be a very thick oily substance that can ensnare any life that it comes in contact with. Although it covers the landscape slowly, when it needs to it can react very fast and even latch onto things flying above.

I'm still going back and forth over how i want the parasitic oil to cover the countryside. I also need to design the tear that he is coming out of. I will put the CG logo on his forehead, and also in the tear.
critiques are welcome, let me know what you think!!!

i still have a way to go. I need to touch up the flying cities, which need alot more character. they look too genaric. and once again the paracitic goo needs to come alive, it will be more "animated" when it is finished. Let me know what you think!!!

Ohh cool! Reminds me of these creepy magazines I used to collect as a kid. Nice design! Only thing I would say is, I'm not sure about the 'blue' colour, it just clashes alot with the red tones, and it becomes the focus of the peice, rather than the monster.
