Looks nice and all, but annoying you have to be signed in and click through X amount of pages to download a demoversion of it. :(

This is a really great release, and SBP's developers are amazingly open people!
If you haven't before, check out the demo and see how smooth the sketching engine really is. The new $99 is worth it!

No, it isn't out yet. The buy link goes to the current 2009 version.
Hmmm, I thought Sketchbook Pro was more costly. Has it gone down in price, or am I imagining things?

Yes, strangely enough Autodesk have lowered the price. They have also brought down the cost of the European version of 2010 much more, although it is still more, which is why one of the links to buy it in this thread seems to be so expensive because it is for 2009 not 2010.
Well, props to them for that. I love Artrage, but there are days when some solid, less painterly sketching pens would be real handy.

This version is really nice, I wasn't that impressed with the 2009 version. I'm considering buying it just as a drawing program, even though Photoshop CS4 runs very well for me.
I wish there was a hotkey to swap two colors like the two brushes (which is great) and when you zoomed to "actual size" it would stay where the cursor is. The latter seems like a bug.

This is what makes my four years old HP TC1100 a true digital sketch book. Its clean innovative interface allows me to leave my keyboard behind and just be pure pen input. I carry this thing everyday and whenever I feel like drawing, it's there like a small sketchbook. Now, it HP's turn to upgrade TC1100 internal hardware.

I have a question, if I buy a windows/mac version can I still get the other? (for free?) ie. does buying windows version allow me the mac version also?
Since I have an iMac with Windows installed also, it would be nice to not have to worry about switching OS (even though it is a relatively painless experience) to draw if I suddenly feel inspired.
