Hi all, i have an object that fly in the space, i've textured it with a procedural map, the problem is that the texture doesn't follow the object (actually the texture is still in the world and the object fly throught the texture i think) (sorry for my bad english), is there any way to "lock" the texture to the object?

thanks.....

Apply and uvwmap modifier. Choose XYZ to UVW. Then explicit map channel at the procedural map in coordinates rollout. If you are already using the channel 1 for texturing uses, use another channel(in the uvwmap modifier and in the material editor rollout).

I think that in max5 and higher its already set up so you dont need to apply uvw map modifier.

The key is to have checked object XYZ instead of world XYZ in map settings roll out in material editor...

Libor no, that's not the key. If you do that the texture will be locked if the object moves, but if it changes topology(skin or modifiers like bend,noise...) it won't work
