View Full Version : How do you get from bodypaint to photoshop
How do you get from bodypaint to photoshop and still keep your polygons in the texture so you know where you are once you get into photoshop ?
like, some people do there texturing etc.. in photoshop ... but how do you know where to put stuff ??
I know photoshop like the back of my hand, but once I export a texture into there I dont know where Im at..
Sorry for all my dumb questions....
I will eventually be posting artwork.. I promise

Make a new layer and fill it with white. Then set your active color to black and your paintbrush to width = 1. Select all the UV polygons and then: Painter-->Functions-->Outline Polygons. Done.

Nice one AdamT a lot easyer than my way.
Ray.
You can also add another layer and use fill polygons and then use outline polygons on a layer on top, saves you having to create another alpha in PS when you export :)

AdamT: I couldn't believe the first time someone told me that! I smacked myself in the head like those old v8 commercials. Seems simple and obvious but it just never crossed my mind...

I think everyone who's ever used BP has done that head smack. ;)
IMO it should be simpler still--like a one click operation.
