See below for the beginning of my first post, I am adding the most up to date picture here:

Here are some of my first ideas. I have pretty much decided to go with my large robot guy #6, as I have worked out another variation, and an idea for side view. But I am willing to change based on some good advice and criticism anyone has for any of my silhouettes.

The machine would most likely be a war machine, though I can make him into a cyborg also -one that has flesh originally from a three headed alien.

The original shape actually came from a fantastic blob of paint that fell just right on my desk, I bumped it with my elbow, and I let it dry. I saw it one day as I was trying to think of something to draw. I made an alien out of it, in a nice battle suit, but now I think I am wanting to make it pure machine, and change some things about it. I modified the shape a little, to make sure it was better suited for this project, and original.

I went with Polycount last year, and didn't finish, partially because I was pretty busy, and also because I was yearning for some feedback that I never got. No one had anything constructive to say over there, and I have really been impressed with the great amount of feedback I see, and have gotten here, so this is my chosen team. Good luck to all, and especially this forum. Happy warring.

I have been working on some of the concepts, this one I still like the best, so I am posting it.

The right hand has a slit that goes around the edge that blades come out of(or one spinning blade-haven't decided), and energy and electricity come out too -so if the blades miss you, you still get something special. The left hand is the same concept, except a long sharp blade comes out, which can also be a projectile.

Three "heads" on it, with "eyes" or lenses that have an angle of view about 222 degrees, with necks that can stretch several feet, they don't miss anything.

Tough metal materials keep its insides well protected, there are also guns that come up out of various places with well aimed lasers.

Well, I figure I might as well continue since there was a bit of an extension.

I had quite a bit of vacation, then catch up time at work, so I have not had ANY time to work on this. The little bit I did, I had no internet access to post my progress. I am not even closse to being done, but I am going to try all the way to the end to get it done.

Here is my Front and side views, and some more work on him (it):
