Hello
I think I've finished the head. I want crits on anatomy/proportions.. before I start something else, I need fresh eyes . Thank you.
PS : I know the mesh is a bit messy.. but there will be no morphs.

Re-PS : it's still completely symmetrical.. assymetry will be added later

looks to me like the ears are too high? maybe not
also the brow line may need to be more difined?

yes the ears are too high. They should go from where the eyeball starts at the top to the bottom of the nose. I hope i am being clear. Besides that, check the topology a little, your edgeloops seem to need some tweaking. The inside of the ear too. The upper part looks flat. If you feel that area you will notice that some people have a ridge that goes through it, and it's concave, following the direction of the top part.

good to see some work from you m@. top notch model from the looks of it, the mesh needs some tweaking though.. you advised me to develope my character completely for this months challenge even though i only wanted to show him from behind... i did it and it payed off. now i advise you to go all the way with a clean mesh, even though you don't plan to animate him :wip:

you can see some of the messiness in the rendered version..i'll just post a paintover

Excellent looking model, the only flaw that I think I can see is that the bottom of the ear lobe looks too fat, bulbus even. And looking at this model I don't know what it is about it, but he almost looks like he should be a black man. I think it is in the nose on the front view, but looking at the nose from the angled view it seems pretty long, but noses are funny like that so I guess I cannot complain, maybe open the nostrels a bit to compensate for the long nose.

I am asumming the detail of the neck will come with the developement of the body, but if not, he has a very thin face, so I don't think the neck would be so smooth, more definition is needed for this muscular of a build.

A slight update.. But I think it changed much, and I'm quite satisfied. I also cleaned the mesh a little, and it helped me :) .. But I fear that if I try to change the mesh too much, I will lose the style of the face (I don't use reference)

nothing to crit, much improved. the areas i suggested are definitely 'fixed', looks more than clean enough to me now. on to new deeds!!
