Hi there people:)
Cgtalk was the first forum that i participate long time ago...That´s the reason to join the competition thru here. The character was first an attempt to join the last DW challenge, but i miss the deadline again:(
Now i´m fully prepared to start the competition.
The Magnus Sigma Knight is a norm- human-Warlord , that uses a magical armor especialyzed in manipulate fire and earth energy to build weapons and summoning other magical manifastations of elements (fire&earth)
The character will be modeled and textured using the usual tools that i´m familiar with;)

Looks like his lower half is medieval and his upper body is way in the future. Otherwise it looks pretty good, doesn't look like you need a normal map for it just a smooth polygon. Good luck to you.

I´ll use normal mapping for some parts, but the armor will have both modeling and texturing modus operandi. It have some scratches, and the mixing between medieval and futuristic look is intentinonal, since he´s a sort of old knight, but the armor is something alien.

those flames on hands are great! i'm sure you'll add more detail to armor and character. nice start!

i started on modeling...here´s the WIP:thumbsup:
I´ll model his armor more like this concept, but the posing will be more like the first...next step on zbrush.
