I am primarily an illustrator, our company has nothing to do with animations,we mainly advertise stuff and make up models of the product..bla,bla,bla....
Question is, this plug-in,AFTERBURN 3.0 can it only be used in animations? Or is it like DreamScape? (doesnt require to be animated.) I love the effects that afterburn is capable of producing, but i need to know how it works first. thanx in advance.

What i meant was , that to get the effects that this plug-in is capable of producing,Is it necesary to do any type of animation first?(Im truly sorry if i sound dumb,we dont do any animations at work, just plain stills.) I understand the concept on how animation works.(basicly a bunch of stills put together in cwrtain order.)But if its necesary to animate first then the company wont buy it..Thanx for the input though ,,I'll figure it out.

Well I havent had it long myself, but what i understand so far is tht you gotta start off with a particle system, then jus move the slider up so you can see the particles ..... then jus add afterburn to the particle system :)
