DWIV - bangbangteng - Norm Warlord

after thinking up my character's story, of being a norm soldier, who comes into possession of a demonic heart. I've re-sketched him into something a bit more powerful looking.

after realizing that my quest for MORE POWER had lead me down the demonic path... (how ironic)... I've decided to completely scrap the "norm using demonic power" idea, as that would make him a "combination" character, and thus disqualify me from the competition.

Here's my new idea.

the gist of it is this: He's an avatar of two universal gods, who normally combat each other in a yinyang dichotomy. They've teamed up to fight the machines and demons, and use my character as their messenger. He's called The Mediator, because he is the balance point in their war on the invading forces opposing the Norm faction, and his relationship with the two gods themselves.

Thoughts? I'd like someone to take notice of my thread besides me...

I like your sketches here. Nice and loose in the early stages.

A question though: How do you intend to flesh out this concept? It seems like you dove into the sketch headfirst without trying out any sort of negative/positive shape exploration which isn't necessarily bad if you have a clear idea what you're going for, but isn't exactly a good idea either.

Play with shapes a little first :)

It's a good thing you decided not to use the demon heart idea because that would have disqualified you right off the bat. Can't mix categories unfortunately.

Nice sketches however, and I feel your pain about people little noticing threads that aren't extremely popular.
