Hi everyone,

I'm having some problems with my current painting. The pose in option A seems wrong somehow even when I hired a model for reference pics she couldn't quite get it so I tried out a different pose. Option B is what I ended up with as a rough sketch. What do you think? Should I continue on with a more frontal pose or work out another pose from the back? Any feedback at all is much appreciated :) Oh and don't worry about the added forests and textures in Option B, I was just testing and trying them out to see how it would look. It's not permanent :)

Thanks! ;)

I think you're right that there is something off about pose A, but I think that the 2 pics send a very different message, option A seems more like an action pose, she's got her gun at the ready and her right arm looks as if she is about to stand up. Where as option B looks like she is deep in thought. so I think it depends on what you are trying to portray in the scene.

In my opinion option 2 is a better picture as far as the pose goes, but if you were trying to get across an action vibe, try to play around with the original pose a bit more.
