The story is cute and all...but I have to say that I enjoyed the little animation excersises at the end more than anything. I really dont think you should have them during your credits because they dont have anything to do with the film we just watched. You know what Im saying?

There are some nice bits of character animation here. The mailbox's "facial" expressions are strongest, though very limited. The weight and mass of the characters is uneven. The first girls punches do not land with any force or weight at all. The second girl skips without enough bounce.

My biggest problem with the piece, however, are the color choices. Even though there are no textures to speak of, the color selection looks like default choices made by a computer. It is very distracting. I think you would be better served using a cell shader and spending some time with some color swatches.

One final question. Why is there so little detail in the curve on the top of the mailbox? This is a major actor in your piece, it deserves more detail.
