View Full Version : Roto skate anim.
igorstshirts 07-08-2003, 02:32 AM I made this short animation using Aftereffects and Flash... I think the skateboard should be re-done in a 3d app. Please let Me know what You think! Thanks.

OOOOh... And BTW... I am NOT trying to sell anything!!!! It just so happens that I try to incorporate My art with my business. It's a curse, everytime I meet someone and I tell them that I own a t-shirt shop... The first thing they say is, "I will have to buy a shirt from You sometime". It's an odd feeling... It's like... YOU DON'T HAVE TO DAMMIT!!!

Yeah, it was more to show the small animation of the skater as I don't think the mods here are too fond of fools trying to sell items. ( And rightfully so). You can check out the airbrushed griptape here though. www.igorstshirts.com/home.htm

I think it would look better if the board didn't move

I like to board spin, keep it. I did however notice that is began to slow down as the bottom rotated down. Maybe you could remove a few frames there. Are you planing to have any more objects animated in the scene? I'd be cool to see a little more action going on instead of just the train, name and the board.
Side note, the shadow board is nice, but seeing Steve's shadow on the train does not work well, perhaps you could make it alot smaller when it is over the train.

You are right... Good crit. I should have either pushed the train layer back further into Z space or disable the recieve shadow... I'm over it now, moved on into 3d... Thanks!
