Title: Odin's mechanical horse, Sleipnir

This image was my entry for the steampunk challenge.
In norse mythology, Odin was a god who would ride Sleipnir, the mythical 8 legged horse, to travel across the universe.
As a steampunk myth, I turned Odin into a genius of a mechanic who, one night, dreams about a new wild machine, part horse, part steam engine and part motorcycle, which he will use to ride across the wilderness.
I started with a pencil sketch and then used photoshop. This was my first "big" illustration project. It was a bit of a struggle but I greatly enjoyed doing it, so it encouraged me to continue, which is the main thing!
