View Full Version : Me.
Trooper 07-08-2003, 02:18 AM I am a student (just finished grade 11) and I am looking for work, if anyone wants to hire me. I have knowledge of 3DS MAX r4, Paint shop pro 5, some html coding experience, and i am very detail oriented.
I love to do concept work, since I love to draw and always have my sketchbook handy if something pops into my head.
my portolio (of sorts) is at http://trooper.scifi-meshes.com
I don't have the experience of unviersities and such, but I will be heading that direction after i graduate. (2 years)
my email is trooper@mad.scientist.com if you would like any further information
(BTW, I live in Canada, so any jobs I will have to do from here, as I don't have the funds to move anywhere)

I've just completed my first year at college at the wonderful University of Dayton. But in my senior year of high school I had a co-op at multimedia firm (JPL Producitons in Harrisburg, PA) in their graphics department. It was a major eye opener into the inner workings of the graphics world. I learned a lot in my semester long co-op and it definitely helped to mature my design eye. I might suggest if your school has something like that you try that route.
I conldn't figure out what skills of yours you showcasing on your sight. But I can't talk since i don't have a site yet...but i'm working on that. Way to put yourself out there.
ps
I realize the University of Dayton is no SCAD, RSAD, ACCAD, Gnomon...but they do have something that those schools don't have; a marching band. I am a trumpet player and from what i remember art schools don't have jazz bands as well. We also have classes for 3d animation and modeling.
pps
Co-ops rock if you can get one in high school...i also did a co-op at at an engineering firm. Two totally different environments.
