Who knows where I could get any Maya tutorials that teaches you how to model a Jet Fighter, and a robot. These are two things I'm having a hard time modeling.

Thanks :wavey:

Theres a sticky at the top of this forum for modelling tutorials but a good place to start for specific maya stuff is www.learning-maya.com (http://www.learning-maya.com)

Also, when modelling, its best to learn the techniques and figure out how you can use these techniques for your own models rather than looking for a tutorial on how to make every single object that you might want to make.

Cheers,
Pete.

[EDIT: Theres also a sticky at the top of the maya forum for maya-specific tutorials]

I agree with Pete, don't get caught on the must-have-a-specific-tutorial-trap, you learn a lot more if you need to apply learned rather than just repeat :)

Also check out http://www.digitaltutors.com/

I have used their XSI stuff and I think I learned a lot (there's a lot of Maya videos also) - they are not free, but not super expensive either.
