Don't know how much time or concentration I'll have to throw at this but it's a cool idea so I at least wanted to have a stab at it. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with something half way decent.
I'll post some initial ideas in a minute.

I really like the sihlouette you've posted - the latest design looks like a knight on crutches on first glance (Sorry, but that's what I read initially :blush: )
I guess why the silhouette design appeals to me is that the different parts of the body aren't actually connected, but are hovering in the right places instead, presumably because of some form of force-field. Why not try to push this idea a bit?
Look forward to see updates.
