Title: Felicia-Playtime
Name: Ron Leary
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

This piece was done for the Udon Entertainment's tribute to Darkstalkers book. The Character's name is Felicia and if you have ever left your cat alone with a roll of paper then you know the mess that your gonna come home to. That was the inspiration behind the piece.
I originally wanted to title the piece "Look what the cat dragged in" but it reminded me of how old I am. Anyway, enjoy.

Good job~ Nice dynamic compostion of the piece. That remind me the memory of capcom 's game. I also played this game before, that game have many fantastic charactors with funny comboo attack. Hope this game can become to the film soon ~ ha

great dynamics here. you did a good job capturing the sense of action going on here. felicia's extended hand (or paw) look too wide though. as though, in the effort to enlarge since it's so much closer, you made it too large. maybe you can slender the arm as it reaches the elbow. beyond that, great job here. a very powerfully active piece. good job.

I'm glad you liked it. Yeah there are things I'd change. The paw and arm were intentional though. So I wouldn't change those. The thin wrist and forearm only make the paw look like a boxing glove. The concept of the character is to be part cat. That's hard to tell from the slick anime stylings though. So I went with a cat like shape to the paw and forearm. I wanted to see a little more beast in there.

The biggest change I'd probably make is to change the legs up to force the direction more toward the action. That could help make it less raunchy too. Then I'd add more large chunks to the mummy getting dusted.

Thanks for the input.
