It was really fun to work on this illustration because I am interrested by the crusades... Inspiration came from "kingdom of heaven" and also the game "Assassins creed".

The contrast between the electric blue of the sky and burning golds of the sand is striking! Great composition - it really creates a sense of anticipation. Excellent painting!
