Hello everyone, I'd like to start out by telling that this is my first time in Dominance War. But I'm looking forward to it and hopefully I will learn alot from this experience.
First I can show a quick sketch and character information.
I'm gonna follow up with a story and alot more concept art tomorrow.

A little update on my Demon Lord:
I've chosen to go in another direction. So I started drawing different races and such and I finally found one I really enjoy, Demon Lord. Heres my very first sketch. will be uploading again later or tomorrow.

Hey everyone, hope you are busy concepting :) anyway, here is my character background story.
His name is Miór, he resides in the city of Ach'ohal. The City Of Ach'ohal is a closed off human city with walls up till the sky, with a defense like no one else, this mortal group has very little chance of survival against the ruthless machines and the dark hearted demons unless they do the necessary.
They have outposts and scout's everywhere so as soon as the enemy show they will strike with no remorse. Quick as a cat, silent as the wind itself he approaches his enemies from behind, striking hard and fast leaving no survivors. Miór's job is to gather information, and kill if necessary.

Nice concept! liked the fact that Scouts play a very important and crucial role in the The City Of Ach'ohal.. All the best! :thumbsup: Eager to see some sketches..

The stalker direction is one that few have taken, so it's nice to see one for a change.
Challenges here at CGsociety are great learning experinces, and I hope you enjoy it a lot.

I'm doing a stalker too...i think we are almost the only two in this forum to do that. ahahah
Loving the style but if i can make u a suggestion... It has to be in a post-apocalyptic futuristic fantasy... so maybe put more thinsg in relation with technology. it just an idea.

ye night vision or some goggles to protect his eyes from the sun, im thinking the ozone layer is gone so one look at the sky without goggles on his eyes would melt up

Well, I would love if you did some more poses and maybe did some other concept for the armor.
It's important that you get thumbnails out to the masses and get people to critisize your work, comming from 3D College myself, I know that you have alot of friends around you but I quickly found out that after doing a few pieces and only relying on critic from them, your work gets blond and boring.
So, for the stalker thingy, I think you pretty much hit your typical average cliché ranger. What I think you need to do is come up with something unique and inspiring that will make your work stay on top of all the others, I don't say you need to reinvent the wheel. But I definetly think you should get some more concepts going, because at the moment, I myself find it to be way to average, and I think that after some time working on the project, you will realize that if you work close to your concept, it will get boring. But I can only refer to this using my own personal experience when working with concept and the 3D College Denmark enviroment.

Agree with zpanzer that you could think a bit more outside the box. This is the sort of challenge where everything goes, so why play it safe? You'll have the most fun challenging yourself with increasingly difficult concepts, I promise you.
A little suggestion would be to find a unifying theme for all of your characters gear, and make it unusual. For instance, looking at the shoulder piece, it would be interesting if all his belongings were made out of enemy's carcases, or stolen items. Maybe he could have an animal sidekick of strange propotions, or a magical cloaking artifact, o a book of spells or an arsenal of tricks. Theres a world of possibilities waiting for U.
The best advice I can give you is not to be afraid of making mistakes. Go for it, and if it turns out wrong, the worst thing that can happen is starting all over again. It's not so bad.

First, thanks for the critics, I can easly see what you mean and I will start emmediately drawing new armor pieces, However the reason why I havent gone overboard is mainly because I'm not that good at drawing so I become insecure I guess. But I'll try to give him something so he stands abit more out.
Will be posting something within the next few days and I hope you will comment on it again :). That's about it.

Do not get insecure, trust me I know about that, I draw like an monkey myself, but keep in mind that the people who are good at drawing only became that good because they kept practicing!
Also, another advice that I have for you is that you should not think about any details yet, only think about his/hers silhoutte and focus on making it as interesting as possible, At the moment, the silhoutte could easily be seen as a casters or a warriors because you use the generic things like a cape or stuff like that. Make something interesting about him.
Since he is a stalker, and is able to use magic, you could maybe do a smoke screen that will constantly follow him, his cape could be made out of captured shadows or his clothes are special stitched cloth that captures and seals light inside it. Think abit about the magic part about him.

Hi guys. First, thanks alot for the male proportion pictures. Second, atm I'm playing around with different concepts and classes because I came to realise that I have only made the stalker meaning I never tried out something else. But I've saved that proportion picture and if I dont find anything else I like I'll get back tot he stalker. Just needed some fresh ideas on the paper, currently drawing a demonlord and so far loving him.. but we'll see. Really appreciate your c&c and advices :)
