Shave and haircut Question

Hi,

Shave 1 works in R8 but in a layer that emulate v7, don't know if it comes from there but it works very bad, at least here.

V2 is out but I have heard that the flicking problem hasn't been totaly fixed...

Hi Pupi,
Joe Alter has only a Demo version for Maya on his site so this won't help you much.
If you don't have Shave yet you will get Shave 2 if you order it, which will work fine in R8.

I just got C4D today the XL bundle and I bought Shave with it.
Do I need to wait till I get my registration numbers from maxon before I install shave? It says that shave's number is linked to C4D's number and if I only have the temo number will this mess up shave when Iget the real number?

I think you can safely install it using the temp number. Enjoy.

no dont!! only install it with your final serial as it locks itself to the serial number.

I just got shave and the registration numer but I dont know how to tell if I need to go download the update. Anyone know how to tell if I have the lates version? It says plugin version 1.5 in the about menu and the update website says 1.2.

I think what matters is the library version, not the plugin version.

I used the same serial number that I got for Shave 1.x, and other
than that it's still rather crash-prone, it's working pretty well.
