I'm trying to work out a realistic, glossy venetian stucco shader, but I'm having trouble working out all the properties of it just by looking at images. In particular, I'm trying to determine the BRDF. I've gone as far as watching DIY videos to learn about the composition of the stuff. hehe It's not a common material to find where I live.
When you get close to parallel, the reflections of bright areas such as windows are fairly noticeable and glossy (http://www.flickr.com/photos/safs/3039143748/). There is an abundance of similar images out there, but what about head on?
I'm looking for any general knowledge on the material. Is there any reflection head on? Do bright objects such as windows and lights tend to have well defined reflections? What's it like in different lighting situations? etc.
Thank you.
