This painting was done using Photoshop, and is a fusion of a few different thoughts and images that were going through my head at the time. Mainly I wanted to capture the mood of a jazz or blues club late at night, and the energy of the performance. Music is a passion of mine, and though I don't listen to Jazz much, I find the atmosphere that sometimes surrounds a musician is really special. There's a certain intimacy I was trying to capture in my own kind of unrealistic and simplistic style. I hope it comes across! :)
