Cute. :p

The design gives him personality. Why don't you animate it?

COOL! I would love to see this animated!

Maybe you could do him even more rusty and torn(to enhance his misery) Perhaps he could wake up on a junk-yard for exposed botīs. Trying t figure out where he came from. That could be a good story perhaps.

But I know, a lot of work, too much most times...

His design rocks. You could have even rendered him bad and he would still look cool.

If you animate him, I think he should say "dum dee dum" alot. :buttrock:

I'd like to see a clearer pic. Looks blurry on my monitor, perhaps due to .jpg compression? From what I CAN see, looks pretty hot! :applause:

neat i like the actual robut, but does it have to be in another GI type setting? you should composite him into something and then if you wanted have it animated would be cool , but i see countless robot renders and tehre all in teh same setting you should break the norm...its up to you.

Hey great work! I like the design! He seems to be alive!
But I don't understand the connection between the body and the head. The rotationcylinder looks strange at the position you placed it. How is the cylinder connected to the body?

hi,
thx for all your replies. yep, the image is blurry due to (vast) jpeg compression. ill post a clearer pic soon.

to goro: he cannot rotate his head, it is fixed. i dont really get what u mean.

well, i already thought of an environment, and thought about putting him in kind of a "charging box" where he gets his functions recharged. what do u think?

i know what u mean. the rotational cylinder is to open and close his mouth, thats all, i think it should work from a logic point of view.

thx again, tell me what u think of putting him into his rest place (charging box thingie).

yeah this one's cute! You should animate him! Put him in a jungle where he's lost and losing strenght slowly (hmm, this isn't meant to sound like I want the thing to die, but that's the first thing that came to mind... It'll make him look sad anyway!)

Great character, when are you going to update it with a better render?
I would really like to see...

You should add more peeling rust and scratches, that'd be cool,
and make a story out of him.

Awesome! He looks so cute and sad! I already feel sorry for him, he is just the sweetest!

Very nice design and as said, deserves a much better background.
