Hi,

I created a Charecter, skinned it up with a biped, it is faceing the FRONT, I loaded a percific .BIP file into a biped with a skin, I really wanted to use this percific .bip, but after loading it, it flips the whole mesh and biped to faceing the opposite way, and I tried another .bip and it did the same, is there a reason this is happening, I would like them all to stay faceing the front.

Many thanks

Yes there is. The .Bip animation has the direction of your root node in it, so whenever you apply it onto your biped it will use the animation data to make your root point in the wrong direction.

Go to the biped control menu and add an animaion layer after applying the .Bip file On this layer you can add a keyframe to turn the character in the direction you want. I think there is also an option to merge both layers together after you turned them in the right direction if you want to save on CPU/RAM power

Simple as that ;)

have fun

Chris
