I know this is a pretty open question, but what are the best output settings for avi to put it on a dvd? everytime I put my demo on a dvd it loses half it's quality, just want to know if there is an answer.

720x480 px, 29,97fps, the respective PAR for widescreen or conventional 4:3. annd where you loose is quality is unclear. Please provide more details about sources, color treatment, fields etc....
