Is there a way, using mel, to determine the length of a curve?
I need the length from end ep to end ep of a third degree curve.
Not the distance between the ends but the lenght of the path of the curve.

You can use either the arclen or arcLengthDimension commands to do this. Have a look at the command documentation

Or you can go into the API and instantiate a MFnNurbsCurve and query the length of the curve.

Thanks Keilun (http://forums.cgsociety.org/member.php?u=188590),
The arcLengthDimension node worked perfectly. It's a good thing I asked. I was considering attaching a whole bunch of pointOnCurveInfo nodes and about as many distanceBetween nodes to my curve.
