Three Baftas for Call of Duty 4

Kinda odd that it's only getting the award this year though, seeing as it came out in 2007. Well deserved nonetheless, I've played the whole game a bunch of times and it's still one of my favourite multiplayer games - it really took the whole cinematic game thing to a new level. I'm really looking forward to Modern Warfare 2.

I agree, COD 4 is one of those rare games that gets everything right.

I almost never play the single player campaign more than once, but COD4 and Metal Gear 4 warrant more than one play through just to take everything in.

Then there's that damn multiplayer, and the close to 60hrs I spent on it.

I'd have to agree that it's odd to get them now, but I'd also have to agree that it's very well deserved! If I could pick one word to describe CoD4 it's "polished". It amazes me EVERY time I play it. IMO it's one of the few games that gets the "Sniper" level right.

One of the best FPS games to come out in a long while. It deserves any award it gets.
We still playing this on LAN nights here (PC). This thing has some legs - will probably keep on playing for the next few years ala COD:UO and all its mods.

Definately well deserved. Incredible gameplay and graphics. I rarely play games anymore as im too busy, but i found time to play that.

Truly its one of the rarest games ever to be developed...the intensity of action the player experiences sure is far more than any of us expected...Thumbs up to all :cool:

I was so excited about L4D, got it as soon as it came out... only to find that it, like so many other Valve games, gives me such excruciating motion sickness that I couldn't play it, and had to sell it.

i know the feeling all too well. it took me months to beat half life 2. i could only play it for about 30min to an hour. i have no idea what causes that motion sickness feeling. COD4 is one of the best FPS i have ever played.

Sure COD4 is nothing we haven't seen before, but it was a well polished game. I think the only thing that I could nit'pick is "OMG - ITS A WOODEN FENCE! WE MUST GO BACK!" :scream:
