View Full Version : Help! UT2K3 default animations for Maya! Where to get?

Wow, do i have a proble!! The mod i am working on is pushing beta release in 4 days. Up untill now i have only been the rigger and quality controll. Now my lead asked me to animate some 3rd person weapon reloads and knife slash....A simple task you say??? Yes, indeed it is simple, but we are using default UT animations and a default UT rig in maya. Now i have to make those animations and i dont have a UT animation package for maya. I need those for hand placement refference. So when i move the hands for the weapon reload, they dont jump from the default weapon holding position to the new reload position that i have to animate. which through the use of IK could be very different.

Question:
Is there a UT2k3 default animation package that i could load in to maya? I dont think there's an official one, but i read in a post some time ago that a user was converting UT animations from MAX to Maya. If this doesnt exist, Could someone pls tell me how to convert it for my self?

Any help would be greatly appriciated.
