I've recently made the switch from Combustion to AE which has worked out great. However, i use AE for post work and comping of animation from 3dsMax.I will render a 24fps image sequence from Max which always seems to be treated as a 29.93 or 30 Fps sequence in AE even though everything is setup in AE for 24 fps. I'm now having to run everthing via Combustion(which has no such trouble) to use the sequence in AE.

so essentially:i'm rendering from Max>exporting to Combustion and rendering there>exporting to AE and rendering there.
im sure i've missed something in AE as i've read and reread the help refs and spent a lot of time experimenting in AE with no luck.

I remember reading something similar at 11secondclub.com but didn't pay much heed as i was an unconverted Combustion heathen at that time.;)

cheers.

In the project window select/rightclick the footage and adjust the framerate.
