View Full Version : Adding smooth noise on the spot

Hi,

I have a grid of duplicated cubes with gaps inbetween each of them. Imagine they are cards being held in a crowded stadium. I was wanting to add some random motion to each of them, and to keep that 'noise' smooth and not jumpy. I would also like to keep them from straying from their initial positions (like people in their seats but with random arm motions), and to do it via expressions.

Any ideas? I'm a little stuck.

Check out Perlin, etc. noise algorithms.
