DogmaD 07-06-2003, 12:38 PM This is the concept for one of the droids used in a game i'm working on. Ive just given it some quick shaders. Still need to work on the textures a lot and i haven't thought up an environment for it yet.
Maybe you guys have some ideas on how to texture it and what kind of environment would work for this machine.

that's looking nice but the viewpoint is a bit misleading... could you post other views and maybe a wire ?
the joints seem a bit weak for supporting the apparent weight... maybe it's a scale issue. how big (and heavy) is the droid supposed to be ?

You are right about the joints, i will update them soon. I will make some more adjustments to the legs, because i they are hard to animate at the moment.
Do you have an idea on how to make a berry like shader in Max?
Im currently working on a creature, which is supposed to be transparent, you can see his internals, but i don'know how to make a shader that will make it look like you look through the skin, but not like you are looking through glass or a clearly transparent object.
