If you are interested in pitching a story concept for a movie or TV show to studio executives, you may want to consider an event that sold-out a monthn in advance last year, and got a fair amount of buzz in the papers -- the Hollywood Pitch Festival.

At $350 per person, I don't know if it would be more efficient to contact animation and other studio's directly, especially since quite a few have announced open door policies.
