Hi
I am having some troubles to get displacement in renderman.When I am in slim editor shows correctly the displacement,but when I add the shader in maya,the render doesnīt do the displace.
oh,and one important think that I canīt find in slim editor is the color balance utility that allows me to make the color gain and the color offset of the displacement.
When I do displacements in mental ray y put in color balance 2.2 of gain and -1.1 of offset.
But how can I play with those values in slim?

The problem is in the texture I am sure,because using a fractal pattern works...
I am using a 16 bits tiff in grayscale mode if that helps to indetify the problem.But I have also tryed with 32 bits in grayscale mode,and rgb mode too,and it doesnīt do the displacement...
My shader is an ensemble of blind a simple displace.The in the displace I plugin all floats_images file....any idea?

Is the plug-in for floating point tiffs loaded?

yes,becuase it works if I do the displacement with the regular maya shader...

Solution found:
I plug the displacement in maya,and import from a slime a material without displacement
