cool work bud.
comments...the rope would be wet...and more dangly(if thats a word!!)
surely handle would be longer downward bit...for leverage.
more bump on metal around bucket.
change more shiney on handle part of winder...from use.
these are all however mainly comments on texturing which is unfair as it was a modelling post!....Ooops so no comment from me bud....nice work...looking forward to seeing rest of scene...has big potential like it..

Emberghost - Thanks for the comment. Yeah still trying to think of how I want the scene to look. Next will be a small cottage.
flingster - The rope sucks, I need to redo it (yet again) how would you make it look wet.? (Specluar map?) Good comment on the handle, agian would I use specular to make it look shiny?
Thanks for the good comments.

Randy- Sorry can't really help ya on the scene your going to put it in. Modeling outside scenes is not exactly my strong point hehe. Although, that would be excellent in Bryce or Vue though. Either way hope you get a chance to work on it, I know it will look great.

dunno very high specular, not very wide, with falloff with a little little bit of reflection? the wet bits would also be darker to look at.
texturing is not my forte....or modelling for that matter...or 3d....heh heh...good luck...
like the image btw....do you own ozone2 for cinema...cos i would imagine you could use that for a funky atmosphere...and good fun messing about.

flingster - I think we are in the same boat. I am a dabbler of many things, a master of none. I will try some of your suggestions. Ozone2 is a wish list item right now.
Thanks!
