Are the textures too much (nose, eyepatch)? was trying to decide.

I would say that the bumps on the nose and the eye is too much it looks slightly more natural on the patch but I personally would tweak it a bit.

The eye lids could be tweaked so they form to the eyeball a bit more as well.

The last thing I would say is that his chest is to thick compared to his waist in your reference pic his waist and rump are much rounder.
