Yes the textures are all done with sla shaders.

you have been busy...
wing join seems strange...and has a quizical expression...but it pretty cool as i thought it was a static image not for animation...so totally impressed.

nice work. i think this is the first time i have ever seen anyone do an owl in cg. good job. one suggestion, maybe add some uniqueness to the feet of the owl. each looks exactly like the other. and i think the feet might need to be a little thicker. i speek from experience. i had an owl two days ago park itself outside my window. i took some pics of it but haven't developed them yet. the claws on the thing were freekin scary. good job and keep it up. :thumbsup:

Your lighting seems a bit bright and color less. but it's otherwise pretty good.
