Hello Everyone,

I would really appreciate any feedback from 3d gurus. I'm working on a short technical animation for cosmetic bottle where I need to show loose cosmetic powder being shaken in an empty clear bottle. I'm done with modeling bottle & its parts but I have no idea how I should approach this powder effect

What would be the best solution? particle? texture? any plugins?
Btw, I'm working with 3dsmax 2009.
Thank you for any suggestion. I appreciate it very much

well, it's been a week and nobody has replied, so ...

if you can get your hands on them, Max Rev. 7 has a very good set of Particle tutorials.

online, this is a good reference, though it doesn't exactly start at the beginning
http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/tutorials/tutorial_index/visual_effects_tools_for_architectural_visualization/

Louis' static & dynamic particle tutorials - in video form - should help get you
started with Max particles.
