I'm trying to rig a tongue in 3DSMax to be used on one of my characters using the spline IK solver. The character is going to use it to lick out its own nostril. The issue is, when the bones move along the spline, and they pass what I am assuming is the Z axis, they flip over. Created these in the top viewport.
If I create them in the left viewport then it changes the Z and then flips when it goes back on itsself, as if going to lick its cheeks.
I'm sort of getting what the issue is, but I've got no idea how to stop it flipping all together.
