Hello,

I have been trying to find FX studios that 1) Use 3ds Max as the primary 3d App and 2) Use plugins for fx such as Fume/Afterburn/Krakatoa etc.
So far all i know of is Frantic, Digital Dimension, Blur and Uncharted Territory. It seems everyone else is Maya and Houdini based.
Does anyone else know of any other studios. I thought it might be handy to get a list going :)

Cheers!

The Orphanage used all these when it was alive. You'd be surprised how much film work you've seen was done in max. I know people at pixar, DD, Scanline and ILM that use it in a daily basis.
