View Full Version : Really simple API problem? I feel so helpless lol

OK- should be fairly straight forward I just don't know where to start!

I'm inside node A with one of its attributes connected to node B.
All I want to do is query (from inside compute on node A) the values of attributes on node B.
Please, someone put me out of my misery lol.

(Seriously though it seems so simple yet I can't find ANY examples- any help would be much appreciated)

put attributes and connections between your nodes to transfer the info. A node should be a closed box and only care of its input and output attributes, everything else even if technically possible, goes against Maya`s Core design. Check the docs for more details.
